Hello sunshine !!

It's amazing what a bit of a sunshine can do to one's mood..Is it just me or is everyone being a tad more cheerful than the normal poker faced zombies we see ??

Anyways whatever the reason being it is nice to have so many smiley faces around you..Personally I am loving the sun as well..It's not spring yet but the bright weather is more than welcome to stay .

Maybelline Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner

Let me first tell you guys that I am an avid eyeliner fan :). For me, my eye look isn't complete without my signature cat eye liner and Clinique's brush on liner in true black has been my saviour after many Mac's black track fluid line fails. The clinique gel liner provides a flawless and quick cat eye and sets in a deep, matte black awesomeness. Moreover, it doesn't need to be set with a black eye shadow and once dry it doesn't budge.I have had mine for about 8 months and despite of using it every single day, I still have a lot left and it hasn't dried up, unlike my mac one which shrivelled into a blob within a couple of months. The only drawback in my opinion is that it comes with a hefty price tag of £13.50 and the brush that it comes with is utter crap :(.

Anyhoo, I should get on with the actual review of the product mentioned in the title rather than singing praises for my favourite eyeliner :P. The product in question being ( drum roll please * )

Mac's Peacocky Collection ( 1/2 )

Mac's Peacocky collection launched in Uk stores on the 3rd February and it went online a day before i.e 2nd of Feb. The collection was based on two new products from Mac namely being 15 different hues of " The Mega Metal Shadow " and 12 beautiful "Kissable lip colours"..

I got four of the lip colours as well as four eye shadows and in this part of the post will be reviewing the lippies or err lip colours :)

As you can see the lip colours are insanely pigmented and true to the colour in tube. These lip colours contain 5g of product as compared to dazzle glasses which contain only 2.4 ML although they both retail for £ 16 each. The kissable lip colours are like liquid lipstick,very moisturising and aren't sticky at all, also they last more than 4 hours on my lips. They went on smooth and stayed true to colour even on my pigmented lips..

"Super" is a brown based nude which looks a darker version of "Woo me" in the tube but woo me is a more pinkier nude if it makes sense?.. Where as " Enchantee" is quite clearly a blue based baby pink which i thought looked a lot like the Lady Gaga lipglass but it's not..it's much nicer and wearable :P..
"Flaunting it" is an amazing cool toned berry colour and is quite unique.

I got the colours I knew that I am gonna wear on a daily basis even though there were some crazy colours in the collection as well like a blue one ?! Eeeeeee....

Out of the four I like....ALL FOUR!!! :D.. I am loving 'em all and I plan to get backups asap..I hope mac makes them permanent cz they are GORGEOUS!!!

I know I have been completely ignoring my blog for the longest time but between work and personal life, I didn't really have the time..I remember when i started writing this blog, I was filled with inspiration..in fact I had some fantastic reviews and looks that I could post but never got the chance and then after a while I forgot about them.. :(
Anyhoo..2011 is a new year ( well not that new but new enough ) and I want my creative juices to flow *ahem..SO I am sorry for not giving my blog time but from now things are going to change and that's a promise !! :)

Hey guys, I am really sorry for such a long gap in my blog entries...but I wont give any excuses and get on with my Ins and out of the moment. I have always liked to read these kinda blog entries so I thought why not give it a try :)
